A digital painting of Remus Lupin, inspired by Hagrid’s line in The Philosopher’s Stone upon giving Harry the photo album; “Sent owls off ter all yer parents’ old school freinds, askin’ fer photos”, which basically just lead to me visualising Lupin going through old photo albums looking for photos to send Harry. About twelve and a half hours all up, twenty-four layers in PaintTool SAI. Oh god, I’ve never thought about this moment. THIS IS REALLY FUCKING SAD. Wow. God, this is REALLY REASLLY REALL sad.  I always figured a lot of those pictures came from Remus and that parting with them was both traumatic and a relief.
